SSC Stenographer 2023 Result: Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2023 on 12.10.2023 and 13.10.2023 at various centers all over the country.

As the Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07.02.2019. As per the provisions under Para 11 of the Notice of the Examination, normalized marks of the candidates have been used for processing the result to qualify the candidates for the next stage of Examination (i.e. Skill Test).
- As per the Notice of the Examination, minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination are fixed as follows:
- UR: 30%OBC/ EWS: 25%
- All other categories (SC, ST, PwD, ESM, etc): 20%
Based on the performance of the candidates in the Computer Based Examination, 3596 candidates have provisionally qualified for appearing in the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 18299 candidates have provisionally qualified for appearing in the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The cut–off marks fixed by the Commission in the Computer Based Examination and the number of candidates qualified under different categories are as under :-

The result of 7 candidates bearing Roll No. 1203001278, 2201056952, 2201056953,
2201056954, 2201056955, 2201056956, 2201056957 have been kept withheld in compliance of court cases.
The schedule of Skill Test will be available on the website of the Commission in due course. The Admission Certificates of the qualified candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the respective Regional Offices of the Commission about a week before the date of examination. However, the candidates, who are unable to download their Admission Certificate, may contact the Regional Office concerned, immediately. The responsibility of ensuring the download of the Admission Certificate is solely on the candidates.
Representations received from the candidates with regard to the Answer Keys have been carefully examined and the Answer Keys have been modified wherever necessary before preparing final Answer Keys. The final Answer Keys have been used for evaluation.
Final Answer Keys and marks of the qualified/non-qualified candidates will be made available on the website of the Commission in due course.
Steps to Download SSC Stenographer 2023 Result
Step 1: Visit the official SSC website (https://ssc.nic.in/) or click on the provided links to access the Stenographer Result for the 2023 examination.
Step 2: Look for the ‘Result’ section and find the tab labeled ‘Steno ‘C’ and ‘D’ (usually in an orange color).
Step 3: Click on “Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination 2023: List of candidates in Roll No order provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification and subsequent Appointment”.
Step 4: Download the SSC Stenographer 2023 Result PDF file to your device.
Step 5: Once downloaded, open the PDF file which contains the SSC Stenographer Result.
Step 6: To easily find your name or Roll Number in the list, press “Ctrl+F” (or use the search function) and enter your Name/Roll No. in the search bar.
Step 7: If your Name and Roll No. appear in the list, congratulations! You have successfully qualified in the SSC Stenographer CBT Result for Grade C or Grade D.
